New Year’s Goal (not Resolution)

Hello There!

Do you remember your New Year’s Resolution last year?

Hulaan ko

  • Magpapayat (Mukhang alang nangyari) 🙂
  • To quit smoking
  • Spend less, Save more
  • Learn to invest, etc.

What is the result? Have you achieved it?

In my opinion, we failed to achieve most of our New Year’s Resolutions because we are only following the tradition and we are not too serious to make it come true.

This coming 2016, let’s make a New Year’s Goals.

It will still be like our traditional New Year’s Resolution but this time you might need to include a goal setting.

Your goal should be measurable and achievable.

For instance you want to earn extra income this coming 2016.

The goal setting must be as specific as possible.

  • How much  extra income you want to earn? P1000 or P5000?
  • By when you want to achieve it? Lets say June 2016?
  • What are the things you need to do to achieve it? By Freelancing or working overtime?

Please write it down and read it regularly until you achieve your goal.

Also, I strongly recommend you to share it to your parents, spouse or friends which you can trust.

Believe me, it is the best method that will help you achieve your goal because you will be more motivated if you know that someone is observing you.

Lastly, don’t forget to keep track of your progress. It will help remind yourself that you are achieving a part of your goal even if its a small step.

Don’t you worry if you will not going to achieve it exactly as you wanted.

As long as you are close to it. It will still be rewarding.

Keep Walking“, Johnnie Walker says!

Cheers!
